Blog Entry: John Bennett will be performing at the Too Solid Music Festival 2011 on 26 Jan at the Supreme Court Gardens. After checking out some of his songs, I think he's got something special. Great soulful voice and a story to tell. It's music from the north west of WA... way out bush. Here's what the Too Solid website says about him... "For over 10 years John ‘JB’ Bennett has been writing and performing music out at Bidyadanga Community, 183kms South of Broome in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. He has performed on a community level and toured and performed throughout Kimberley towns and communities during this time. John’s music is primarily country with infusions of Rock and Reggae that has strong rhythmic approach yet subtle in both melody and structure.
